nothing.I wanted to be tiny. As tiny as I could be without simply disappearing. I decided that precisely three inches was the height that I would be for the rest of forever. However long that might be. It is exactly the height of the caterpillar in Alice In Wonderland. And it seems presently perfect for a girl looking to be very small. Day by day, I would shrink. Until I was small enough to spend my days comfortably in his pocket. He would take me everywhere, and forever would be ours. And forever would be nothing. He would still be here, because somehow, my getting smaller, would have given him back all the things he had lost. &nbsnothing.
